Nicholas Chua
Product Designer
Hi, I'm Nicholas — a product designer with a background in multimedia design. My journey started in graphic design and video editing, where I spent 3 years honing my storytelling skills and developing a strong eye for detail. Now I focus on UI/UX, blending visual design with front-end development to create clean, functional experiences.
I worked as a multimedia designer at H2GO Global, a parent company with businesses across healthcare, F&B, farming, and water tech. As their sole creative resource, I adapted quickly across different industries and design needs. Today, I work independently as a product designer, developing my own projects while running an e-commerce business on the side. Managing everything from product photography to checkout flows has taught me firsthand how design decisions impact conversion and customer behavior. These experiences shaped my approach: understand the user, understand the business goal, and design the cleanest path between them.
I work primarily in Figma to design systems, prototypes, and user flows. My methodology centers on accessibility and usability — I design with the end user's journey in mind, ensuring experiences are intuitive and inclusive for everyone. What drives me is the challenge of solving real problems through thoughtful design and creating something new that genuinely improves how people interact with products. When I'm not designing, you'll find me cooking, running, reading, or tinkering with electronics.
